I met two writers over the weekend. Margi Preus who wrote the Newbery Honor Book Heart of a Samurai and New York Times Bestselling author Michael Buckley who wrote the series The Sisters Grimm.
Margi Preus and I conversed about how the digital book might affect physical books, and the state of the book store. Michael Buckley was late, he had a flat tire on the way from the airport to our book store, and so I rushed him through the store to greet a crowd of around 50 kids and their parents. I love it when writers come to our book store.
