Recently purchased. Everyone I’ve talked to about this series says it’s great. Has anyone out there read it? If so, what did you think?

it is an amazingly fantastic book. probably one of my favourites.it’s easy to get sucked in to the futuristic world.

It was… okay? I found the characters rather flat. The prose wasn’t that great, either. I wasn’t invested in any characters.

It was addictive to read but towards the end i felt quite disappointed. It felt like the writer just wanted to stretch things out.

Maze Runner is very good and The Scorch Trials (#2) is even better, specifically if you like dystopian story lines.

lol this was a reading olympics book for us last year. i liked it but ppl who actually have a sense for literature didn’t like it.
