I remember this time four years ago when Wallace died. The buzz about his death was tremendous. I had only read a few of his short stories at that time and intended to buy a copy of Infinite Jest. I bought Broom in the System instead, read it, and then purchased Infinite Jest and everything else he’d written. He will be missed.
